Hi folks, today I have for you one very nice robot video. On these videos you can see just perfect robot fish that moves really smooth and realistic and I think if it had better skin it would be pretty hard to recognize that it is not real fish. Check these vids out, I would like to have this fish in my aquarium, it might not have any use, but it just looks cool!

Grasshopper robot sets new world record

Hi everyone, you have probably noticed this message in news if you are interested in robots. This small "grasshopper" robot weights just 7 grams and it can jump 1.4 meters straight up. What does it mean? Well, it means that it can jump on so long distance that is equal its height x 27. That is really amazing, because it also needs only very small amount of energy (it can make 320!! jumps with just one battery) to make that huge jump. Another big advantage of this kind of movement is that by jumping robot can move in very rough terrain and it is very good platform for small sensor and can be used for example for recognition of other planets. "These tiny jumping robots could be fitted with solar cells to recharge between jumps and deployed in swarms for extended exploration of remote areas on Earth or on other planets." says profesor from EPFL Dario Floreano. Imagine how great will look huge swarm of grasshoper robots jumping thru the huge plains of Mars..
This robot was developed by researchers from the Laboratory of Intelligent Systems at EPFL (École polytechnique Fédérale de Laussane). The way this robot performs jumps was inspired by animals like grasshoper or frog that accumulates energy very slowly and releases it very quickly. Check out this little robot I-Sobot, it can shoot an arrow. That is really very nice skill for a robot. I-sobot is really just amazing robot, it can do really wide variety of tasks and on this blog you will see lot of videos with this robot, because it is probably the best robot you can buy now.

Pleo - robotic pet dinosaur

Have you ever wanted to have little robotic pet dinosaur? Now you can have this perfect robot Pleo from Ugobe. It was created by co-creator of the famous Furby toy. What is really interesting about this robot, is that it can learn from its experiences and environment. Maybe the cost is little bit too high, I don't know if would give 350$ for toy, even it is very sophisticated. Check out this video, Pleo bahaves really very naturally.

Albert Einstein robot

This robot has really great realistic face. It is probably the most realistic human face on robot I have ever seen and it is definetely much more realistic than the female robot's face of Actroid DER 2. Looks really very good and I'm sure that within few years there will be robots with so realistic artificial faces that no one will be able to see the difference between them and real people.

This robot is really very simple, but what is very cool is that this robot is powered only by solar energy. Nice!

Perfect lego robot

Wow on these videos you can see that you can build just amazing robots with the new lego Mindstorms. Check it out ono these vids. I'm really looking forward for my own set of this lego and I will add post with my very own cool robot.

The most scary robot I have ever seen

This robot is called Actroid DER 2 and it should be the most realistic female robot in the world.. but for me it is more like the most scary in the world. I don't know why, but it seems to me like some living dead woman more than super female robot. I hope the future female robots will be much more realistic and less "dead".

Rhex Robot

Here is another perfect robot from the makers of Big Dog. These videos are maybe not so spectacular as the other, but this robot is really special. So small robots usually have big problems moving thru terrain, but not this one. It has really special legs which allows him not only walk thru the forest, but this robot is even able to swim.

New Big Dog videos

Here it is, one of the most famous robots in the world right now. It is called big Dog and when I first saw videos with this robot I was just shocked. Even I have seen these videos many times I¨m laways amazed how far the robotics is today. It is really just amazing to watch how fast it reacts when someone kicks it and changes its gravity centre, or when it walks in ice, but it just doesn't fall down. This robot is really just perfect and it is almost scary how moch it looks like some real animal.

Robotic goalkeeper

This machine looks really very simply, but it has just amazing skill. I would never thing that it could work so fast that it can catch the ball no matter how fast you are kicking. These videos are really very spectacular.

Robot that can learn cooking?

Check out this little robot, well it really looks it can learn those simple movements so easily. Nice funny video with cool music.

RuBot II

Here is one just perfect robot it is called Rubot II. This robot is little bit scary, but he is able to solve Rubics cube. Another thing robots can do and are definetely better than me.

I like robots even I've never build one (but I'm going to do that soon I promise) other people did and that is what this blog is all about, the most fantastic videos with robots I have found on the web.
